We have been having issues with our upfront generator that provides power to the African Gray Aviary and Macaw Aviary… thankfully, we have them tested weekly automatically and as of recent.... it is officially worth it to replace it versus continuing to pour money into it to keep it running.

We were planning our $5,000 goal Giving Tuesday/Christmas holiday fundraiser to be used towards the normal propane tank fills over the winter but instead we will use it towards a new generator for the ”upfront aviaries”. After the 5 day loss of power in 2021… it’s gotta be done. It’s simply not worth the constant money pour it’s becoming to keep it running.  We have got to keep the birds safe.

The same company will be working with us and they have given us a very fair price of $6,779.00. That is for the generator and all of the installation process, fueling, lines, etc., etc.

We’ve got the order in and it will be installed mid-December.
